The Villa
Casa Allen is a large 4-bedroom (sleeps 8+ space for a travel cot) and 3-bathroom villa sitting on a peaceful corner plot in the popular area of Corralejo, and is a very short distance from sandy beaches. The villa is well equipped with a modern kitchen, separate utility room and spacious sitting room, with a large flat screen television and doors leading outside to the pool. The pool is a private salt-water pool and can be heated.
The villa has front and rear gardens and secure off street parking for up to 3 cars, all behind an electric gate, and has 1.8m high wall on all sides.
It is our families holiday home and we hope you enjoy it as we do, spending time here relaxing with family and friends, strolling into Corralejo or enjoying trips to the beach – or simply staying ‘home’ for a BBQ!
The Pool
The large salt-water pool is an oasis of fun, particularly for children who also have their own attached ‘splash-pool’. Accessed via built in steps makes it very safe and in cooler months can be heated for a small daily fee. But when the sun is up, it’s the perfect place to cool down!
The Beaches
Fuerteventura is renowned for its beautiful beaches and the beaches within the immediate area of Corralejo are exceptional. Come here for the surf, or to sunbathe, or a beach holiday with buckets & spade. You’ll find the perfect spot within minutes by car from the villa.
One of our favourite things is to go to the beach, watch the sunrise, go for a quick dip and buy breakfast on the way home (you must buy the freshly squeezed orange juice from the special machines in nearly every supermarket – delicious).
About the local area
El Campanario is in walking distance (top of the road, turn left and you are there) and is a quaint shopping area housing a supermarket (with its own butcher and fresh fish counter), numerous bars & restaurant and has a craft market twice a week. Parking is underneath if you wish to do a weekly supermarket shop and stock up with water, beer and wine!
Still within walking distance (or by taxi around 5 euros) is Corralejo – possibly the largest resort on Fuerteventura, with an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from.
The small port at Corralejo has regular water taxis to Lobos island and fast ferries to Lanzarote.
